From the hall of The Super Dome Tanzania in Dar es Salaam, Ms. Neema Msitha, Executive Secretary of the National Sports Council, presented the award to artist Abigail Chamungwana in the “best female rising international” category at the HAPA Awards held on August 10, 2024.
She is known for songs like Milele, Bata, Chapati, Nani, and Corazon, among others.
