Sammy Owiya Otieno, also known as Mapenzi Chokuu, is a Kenyan social media personality and LGBTQ activist based in Germany.
Born on March 5, 1995, in Ahero, Kisumu County, he is the youngest of five children. Sammy gained prominence for openly acknowledging his social gender and being a proud member of the LGBTQ community, even declaring himself the “sexiest gay man alive.”
Additionally, he is a songwriter and recording artist.
Chokuu encountered the city pastor, Victor Kanyari, on TikTok and expressed his desire for salvation, but was unable to endure the criticism due to his gay nature.
The proud Kenyan gay man talked about his secret gender, leaving Kanyari shocked. “I am versatile. Choku said, “People call me a chapati.”
Shocked Kanyari continued to interrogate Chokuu, insisting that he would quit TikTok. You don’t want lions? Don’t quit TikTok,” Chokuu urged the preacher.
